We wanted to update everyone on the issues we’re experiencing with the ponds. Tiffany Castille, our association manager, has been in contact with SOLitude Water Management in regards to these problems. Here is their response:
We are pleased to announce that the HOA is installing a new access control system for the clubhouse today.
The new system will provide greater security for the clubhouse. It uses a key fob system for access control and ties in with our new camera system. A fob system will be much easier to maintain and change as needed, and should prevent non-residents from entering the clubhouse.
Following the June 11 Board of Directors meeting, please be advised that the Board is considering our options for reopening the clubhouse gym, as well as safety protocols for other amenities. We are also in the process of installing new access controls for the clubhouse. (More to come on that later.)
Today, Seminole County is moving to Phase II of the governor's "Smart. Safe. Step By Step" plan. The HOA Board of Directors plans to hold a special meeting in the near future to consider the reopening of our gym. An official notice will be provided as soon as a date has been set.
We understand that many homeowners want to have access to the fitness equipment. However, the most important thing the Association can do is provide for safety.
After careful consideration and on the advice of our attorney and insurer, the HOA Board has determined that it is prudent to keep the gym closed at this time. The requirements to clean the gym and all equipment multiple times daily, which have been adopted by public gyms, are beyond the limited resources of our Association. We regret the inconvenience, and look forward to re-evaluating as conditions will hopefully continue to improve.
